I certainly think that there is a discussion to be had regarding the role and scope of the Federal Department of Education. It’s not clear to me that the public gets good value for the $ spent there. However, that discussion would require good faith participation and these clowns are only interested in putting on a show.
I retired as a middle school teacher seven years ago, and my son and his wife are local high school teachers. I know many public school educators, but I don’t know ANYONE teaching public school who is a communist, socialist, pedophile, etc. Teachers barely have enough time to eat lunch and use the restroom. How does anyone think they have time to groom and indoctrinate children? Why would they want to? And where did they learn to? I defy JDV and any NAR members or the many others touting this crap to find a public school with socialist curriculum. Of course, the very idea of public education is technically socialist, as are public roads, your insurance company, fire departments, police, Medicare,SOCIAL Security, etc. But that’s a topic for another day.
