I was there when these people started as an interest group in Mesa, AZ. They met in a store-front where both adults and children tinkered with programming.

My daughter in law, who is a nurse has the following sign on her desk,

Please don't confuse your Google search with my Nursing Degree.

We need to make up signs like that for teachers. Most of the comments I see from parents online that are "homeschooling" have substantial grammatical errors. There is a place for homeschooling, however we should never be funding it. It was your choice to home school. What is unclear about that?

Micro Schools are a throwback to pre public school days. Poor parents will opt for this as the scholarships and ESA vouchers do not suddenly make them able to afford $15K tuitions. Micro Schools are a throwback to the DAME schools and Plantation Schools that predate public education.

Dame school teachers and southern tutors did not have to have a degree or credential to teach.
