There are lots of excellent education blogs out there, Peter, but none is better than yours at clearly and unfussily documenting, explaining, contextualizing, and debunking reformster baloney. It's especially challenging because it's not one coherent ideology; it's more of an ecosystem in which different groups can thrive who basically reject society (there's no "our kids," just my kids and your kids, and your kids don't count / need correcting / are Godless / exist to mow my lawn etc.) Basically, the anti-democracy ecosystem. Somehow, you keep track of a zillion details out in the world, but draw our attention to the larger forces behind them. You must have been a history major. Or should have been. Anyway, just a thank you for your really important and always enlightening work.
So terrifyingly fascinating.
Also: I wonder if the right has been de-valueing college because more women go to/graduate from college?
Oh yeah, I'm sure that's a factor. They kind of can't say that out loud of course.

Does anyone remember when the idea was to stop overpopulating the planet? And Heaven forbid that we rely on immigration to maintain the population.
