This fear of failure has absolutely permeated our nations’ psyche over the last few decades. Some level of fear is OK to the extent that it motivates us to build, create, and make things better for all. However, we’re at that toxic level that turns us inward - to desperately cling to what we have in fear of having it taken away. Note that this fear coincides with the concentration of wealth & power in the hands of a few, resulting in a hoarding of opportunity.
