Hello there!

It has been a time for public education in this country, but I believe in it, and I continue to write about the world of education, highlighting both the needs to shape up from within and stand up to the attempts to disrupt, defund, and dismantle this bedrock institution.

Why subscribe?

Because maybe you’re more of a substack person than a blog-with-subscription person. Subscribe to get full access to the newsletter and website. Never miss an update.

Anything special here?

The one extra feature with this format is that I’ll include a short excerpt and link for everything I post at Forbes.com or the Progressive or the Bucks County Beacon, so you get all of my stuff in one place (I would give you the whole thing, but they pay for my content there, so I have to play fair).

I’ll also throw in the occasional throwback posts from my original blog. I guess that’s a benefit for newer readers.

Other than that, nothing extra special is going on here. Just the text of the current blog post in substack form.

Cost?

None. I haven’t monetized the blog in almost a decade, and this is not a tool for that. Feel free to subscribe for zero dollars and no cents (the same amount as the annual budget of the Institute)
