Unfortunately, this is accurate to my own experiences teaching in the classroom post pandemic.

It is starting to filter into higher ed as well, at least in small liberal arts schools. I'm glad I am closer to retirement than to just starting. Lack of admin support (need to keep the students in the seats for their money) and increasing numbers of adjuncts (little pay, "easy" to replace, students drive the evals and adjuncts are afraid to confront that for fear of not having work). (By the way tenured faculty get reviewed and have to worry about student evals as well....just a bit more leeway than adjuncts.)
