Douglas Carswell at the Mississippi Center for Public Policy is excited about all the great privatization pushing that’s been going on in the state lately.
It’s funny that they always mention either the science of reading or the 3rd grade retention policy when talking up the Mississippi miracle but never the added teacher training, curriculum support, or intensive tutoring for retained kids. I guess we’re just supposed to ignore those other parts of the policy and accept the ones the reformers prefer the most?
