I applaud your call to look at what DOD schools do given their success. However, to characterize it as "doing all the woke" stuff is overstating their advantages and tagging them with a term that's become a too easy slur on liberal/progressive policies and practices, many of which clearly went too far for enough voters to ask for a change. This piece you note, "The families that the schools serve all have secure housing and healthcare; students come to school with basic needs met and no threat of disruptive hardship hanging over them." These aspects of life are the ones that are not present for far too many kids and majorities in most places won't spend the money to provide them.

I don't comment often, but I wonder...why do we keep obeying, when they are clearly violating laws, precedents, and often, the Constitution? When will we, as a nation, start saying and meaning "NO!"
